ARE YOU REGISTERED TO VOTE?
If you are at least eighteen years of age, a citizen of the United States, a resident of the State of Michigan, and if you live within the community for which application is made, you meet the qualifications necessary to become a registered voter. You may apply at the appropriate township or city office in which you reside or at the Secretary of State's Office. You may vote at elections occurring at least 30 days after completing your voter registration application
Absentee Ballot Applications may be requested by letter or picked up at the Alpine Charter Township, 5255 Alpine NW, Comstock Park, MI 49321
You are eligible to use an absent voters ballot if any of the following reasons apply to your particular situation:
You expect to be absent from the community on voting date.
You are physically unable to attend the polls without assistance of another.
You cannot attend the polls because of the tenets of your religion.
You are 60 years of age or older.
