Welcome to the Comstock Park Public Schools. Our smaller student enrollment is a strength for our school. Parents and community members surveyed gave the following responses:

• Feel welcome when visiting our schools;
• Feel importance is placed on academic achievement;
• Expressed satisfaction with students’ performance on State tests;
• Recommend friends and relatives move into the Comstock Park district so their children can attend our schools.

Students and staff know each other and our students feel welcomed and valued and have more opportunities to participate in the arts, music, and athletics.

Although programs are important in the educational process, the real reason Comstock Park Public Schools has improved student achievement is due to people. The vast majority of the employees of this school district are very good people who truly care about each of our children. They work hard to provide a school environment for our children that is friendly and safe. They have been willing to critically review what they are teaching, how they are teaching, and make the changes necessary to improve student learning. Without question the real strength of our school district is the caring people who work here.

Our Comstock Park Board of Education works very hard to maintain the trust of our community.  We have developed a Strategic Plan that with a focus on two critical issues of:

1. Improve Student Learning and Achievement, and
2. Maintain Fiscal Responsibility.

Our Strategic Plan and other District information are available on our website at www.cppschools.com.

High quality schools are the lifeblood of any community. High quality schools prepare our children for the many challenges they will face in the future. We have an obligation to be good stewards, to leave a legacy for future generations.

“The school is the heart of the community, and a community is only as good as its schools.”
