Before School Care

 for Fall 2016

Early drop-off hours will be 7:40 - 8:40 am, Monday through Thursday. We are excited to offer this option to our community at an affordable $6 per day. Spaces are limited and the following must occur to take advantage of this opportunity:
  • Register for Little Panthers Preschool. 
  • Commit to all three/four days (dependent upon the class your student is enrolled in).
  • Notify the Greenridge office of your choice to be in before school care.
Students must be fed breakfast prior to arriving. Please note that we must have 12 students enrolled by August 31st to run the before school option.

Policy and Procedures

Little Panthers Preschool Full Day Option 

Comstock Park’s Little Panthers Preschool offers an all day 4 year-old program. The hours of operation will be 8:40 am – 3:30 pm, Monday through Thursday. The students in the all day program will benefit from the structured classroom setting in the morning including reading, vocabulary, math, science and other skills aligned with the state’s early childhood goals and Comstock Park’s kindergarten curriculum. They will further develop their skills with an afternoon filled with Creative Curriculum that encourages learning through play. 

We are excited to offer the all day program to our community at an affordable $319 per month. Spaces are limited. The registration form with a $40 deposit will hold your child’s spot for the fall. Lunch and a mat/blanket must be provided daily for your child.

Our goal is to provide quality, affordable daycare to our Comstock Park families and to expand the program as the need develops. Please contact Greenridge Elementary at 254-5700 for more information.

Little Panthers Preschool Overview

Little Panther’s 4 year-old preschool will prepare your child for kindergarten through a proven academic curriculum that promotes learning through structure and play. Your child will be taught Zoo-Phonics, letter and number development, pattern recognition, basic math, reading and vocabulary, plus other skills that are all aligned with the state’s early childhood goals and Comstock Park’s kindergarten curriculum. We also offer a 3 year-old preschool session. This program is designed to give your child a positive first experience to a structured school environment. Your child will benefit from early exposure to counting, number and letter recognition, vocabulary words, fine and gross motor activities, classroom structure and social interaction.            


A $40 non-refundable registration fee is required to hold your child’s spot in the fall program. This fee does not apply toward tuition. Please fill out the registration form and mail or bring it to: Greenridge Elementary, 3825 Oakridge, Comstock Park, MI  49321. Please make checks payable to Greenridge Elementary.


For the Fall of 2016
*Children must be 4 by Sep. 1, 2016 to enter the M - Th 4 year-old session.
**Children must be 3 by Sept. 1, 2016 and toilet trained to enter the T - Th 3 year-old session.
