Welcome to Pine Island!
Junior Achievement Opportunity:
Make a Difference in the Comstock Park School District as a Junior Achievement Volunteer
We are currently seeking community volunteers who would like to participate as Junior Achievement volunteer teachers for the 2011/2012 school year. Junior Achievement is dedicated to teaching students the value of business and economics. As a volunteer, you would spend about one hour per week for five weeks at Pine Island Elementary School facilitating a Junior Achievement lesson. Volunteers serve as role models, teaching young students the value of staying in school, positive attitudes toward work and society, and critical thinking skills that will produce success in the workforce. Junior Achievement provides training and detailed, fun lesson plans. You can make a difference! Please contact Christy Nowak at 784-1309 or email cnowak@cppschools.com for more information.
