Visits from "I-Care Cat"

I-Care Cat has been visiting classrooms teaching the I-Care rules.  These rules lay the foundation for treating others with respect and developing problem solving skills.  Rules include:

1. We listen to each other.
2. Hands are for helping, not hurting.
3. We use I-Care language.
4. We care about each other's feelings.
5. We are responsible for what we say and do.

Learning to get along and work with others are important skills that we use throughout our lifetime.  Our young friends learn through practicing and observing these skills at home and at school.  Greenridge students look forward to Care Cat's visits to their classroom.
