Programs & Services

Comstock Park Public Schools offers programs and services on a full continuum designed to meet the individual needs of each student.

Local and regional programs provided by the district are reported below. The first column gives a brief room description follower by the FTE (Full Time Teacher Equivalent and at what age / grade).

Diagnostic services for students are completed within the district whenever possible. Additional diagnostic services are available through Ken-O-Sha Diagnostic Center.

Comstock Park provides classroom programming for students with more intense needs in conjunction with Grand Rapids Public Schools.

A successful cooperative teaching model using a special education teacher in the regular classroom may be used in Stoney Creek, Pine Island, and Mill Creek Middle School and High School buildings for specific subject areas.
